Reindeer Feedding and Sami Culture
You will have the chance to feed the herd of around 300 reindeer that will swarm around and might even eat from your hands, and you will learn to use the lasso (but not on real reindeer).
Inside a gamme, you will enjoy a traditional Sami meal cooked over the fire and warm drinks. A vegetarian / vegan / gluten free option is also available.
After lunch, you will be invited into a lavvu and gather around the fire to listen to stories about Sami culture and how it is to be a reindeer herder. The Sami guide will also perform a joik (traditional Sami song) for the guests.

Reindeer Camp Dinner with Chance of Northern Lights
You will have the chance to feed the herd of around 200 reindeer that will swarm around and might even eat from your hands, and you will learn to use the lasso (but not on real reindeer).
Inside a candlelit lavu, you will enjoy a simple dinner, including bidos, a traditional Sami stew cooked over the fire, and warm drinks. A vegetarian / vegan / gluten free option is also available.
After dinner, you will gather around the fire to listen to stories about Sami culture and how it is to be a reindeer herder. The Sami guide will also perform a joik (traditional Sami song) for the guests.
If you are lucky and the sky is clear you will have a chance to see the Northern Lights above the reindeer camp.
